Floyd came back but took another ducking vacation to get away from Pacquiao.

        Pacquiao cleaned housed.
Cotto coming back from the Margarito beat down obviously still seeing flashes. Struggles with Clottey but Pacquiao fights him at 145 when Cotto wanted 147... ok cool, Cotto took the fight. Then Pacquiao ducked Mayweather's drug test demand and 50/50 purse split to fight Clottey who lost to Cotto prior. Then after Mosley beat Margarito's face in he went to wild card gym and begged Roach for the fight but they didn't want it. Floyd fought that Mosley not Pacquiao. Mosley was not considered anything after his fight with Mayweather and draw with Mora. The Margarito fight was not at 147 but a catch weight JR MW fight after Margarito came back from a year suspension and fought some scrub before Pacquiao. Manny didn't clean up nothing because Mosley was the best after the Margarito win and Manny didn't want it or with Floyd. Stop lying.

Manny didn't clean out WW or become Lineal champion. If Pacquiao would have fought Mosley after Margarito then you have an argument but Pacquiao didn't and he didn't fight Floyd and that was the top guys at 147 that would have solidified Pacquiao. Margarito/Cotto/Williams was all battling it out to get Floyd but Margarito lost to Williams, Williams lost to Quintana and Cotto lost to Magarito. Floyd was #1 before any of these guys were anything at 147. Mayweather already solidified his place at WW while Manny didn't because he never beat Mosley when he was #1 and he also said no to Williams. All the fights we want to see and wish would get made don't unfortunately.

Floyd ducking Pacquiao. Pacquiao was too dangerous back then.

Pac might of opened as a underdog but heavy early money is coming in on him

Pac Floyd set for early May in Vegas. 81% of early bets on Pac-Man (+230) over Money (-270).
Early action on Pacquiao. Mayweather now -275 (was -295) vs Pacman +215 (was +235)

Floyd worshipers treating Pac like an inferior fighter compared to everyone else Floyd has fought. That's fine. Will make the victory all the more sweeter when the underdog wins.

Because of Pacquiao's aggression, speed and stamina Mayweather needs to throw more than his previous fights.
