Exactly. Floyd losing to Pac is not worse then them not fighting at all. Yeah he would get clowned by the media, detractors, etc for a bit... only natural since he rubs a lot of people the wrong way. But in the end it would be only 1 loss vs 47 wins in a HOF career. Neither guy losing affects their legacies negatively, obviously winning enhances one. But the worst thing possible would've been them retiring with that lingering doubt.

Easy money.
Make sure you post the betting slip so we all know how much richer you're gonna be on May 2ndComment

Yet remember all the backlash over bradley's poster for his rematch with Pacquaio. If you are going to have a moment to pull a fast one on the public perhaps advertising a chance for a second fight wouldn't be the best of strategies. Regardless of the outcome of the fight on may 2nd there will be a rematch, too much money to be made. Both men stand to make nearly half a billion dollars if not more from a trilogy.Comment

You are so full of sht if someone in same room as you coughs, sht will pour out your ears. You're signature is obvious as hell, especially since at least one of those guys is not a hype job. Nice try.Last edited by richardt; 02-22-2015, 02:56 PM.Comment

ESPN is reporting that virtually all of the early action on the fight was placed on Manny in one sports book.
The early action has been light, touristy and almost all on the underdog, the books said. Ninety-four percent of the money that had been bet at William Hill was on Pacquiao. A $1,000 bet on Pacquiao was the biggest William Hill had taken as of Friday. The majority of bets, though, were much smaller, and came mostly from recreational bettors who were in town for other events like the Super Bowl.
Though there has already been some light action based on the likelihood of a Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao, Friday's announcement of the May 2 fight will lead to huge bets being placed.
I know it was small, light bets so far... but 94% seems ridiculously high? Guess it makes sense seeing as how the payout is much higher for a Manny win.Comment

I assumed this would be the case with Floyd at 3-1. I think Vegas is gonna make a killing when Floyd wins.Comment
