what, I did let it play out. Then I responded in the thread because I can't think of a reason other than needing money or HBO making him and bob change their stance as to why he jumped on this deal now. If you got a better reason, post it in the thread.

What do you mean jumped on this deal now? There was no deal to even jump on. Floyd's bosses had to get the deal done. Floyd wouldn't even come to the table. When Floyd finally said he wants to fight Pac last year after Pac beat Algieri, Floyd was still talking about the 40 mil no PPV cut like it was a good deal (and said Pac should expect a worse offer this time). I'm glad the fight is signed but it took everybody on Floyd's side to tell him it's gotta be Manny this time.
If Floyd really wanted the fight he would have made noise about it. He had no problem printing TShirts and screaming "take the test" when he thought Manny wouldn't accept his drug testing terms. What happened after Manny said he'd do Floyd's test after months of fans expressing their displeasure? Floyd said no PPV cut anymore and acted like the fight doesn't matter.
