Seems like mayweather has been dangling the pacquiao carrot over everyone's head all these years. He said right before the Chris algiero fight he would fire his trainer Floyd Sr. If he mentioned that he should fight pacquiao again. He went on to say he would rather fight 2 bums. The drug testing hasn't been an issue for years. Floyd has been the one running scared, and proved it with that bogus 40 million dollar offer with no ppv split. Now pacquiao has lost twice and hes getting double that? Sounds like mayweather never made a serious offer in the first place, that is so easy to see, yet you mayweather knucklheads are too dumb to see through his b.s., and believe everything he says like its gospel.

You should be more focussed now on how you guys are going to get your boy Floyd out of this one looking good
Lot of rhetoric from you clowns but no straight answer. Why did manny take a worse deal now then when he walked away?

Maybe he does need the money and couldn't afford to stand on the same principles as he did back then. Maybe HBO made him since they gave him part of the signing bonus.

Manny's actions are different now. No drawing blood weakens me, no needle fear from his team. I'm just curious as to why.

Kudos to manny for doing his part to make this fight happen.

I have never been happier to have been so wrong.

I specially loathe talking about money instead of the fight and the fighter...but for those who doesn't have a clue, if I may interject...

        1 US Dollar equals
        44.25 Philippine Peso

Meaning an average $20M fight of Pacquiao equates to 885M in Philippine Peso (as per latest Dollar to Peso). And standard of living is obviously lower in the Philippines, meaning one's dollar (or peso) can go a very long way in there than in the US.

For those who cannot understand that, let me give you a simple example:

***8226; 10 dollar meals buys you a full-lunch (say a McD lunch)...if you take that 10 dollars in the Philippines it is 440 pesos it would buy you about 4-5 meals for the same lunch...and you can buy cheaper meals also if one goes beyond McD...

So if anyone thinks that Pacquiao is in need of money, you obviously have no clue. Now chime in all his businesses from real estate (resorts) and properties, groceries to begin with - he is relatively richer than Mayweather who is earning Dollars and spending Dollars (plus higher taxes).

Pacquiao is earning Dollars and spending in Pesos.

Hey Mr Dunn off topic, just want to ask you this.

What if Floyd applies what Marquez dirty tactics he started to use against Pac since Pac vs Marquez 3 which is foot stomping or foot tripping Psc's lead foot, would you call that an excuse if Pac's lose?

just asking because Floyd most certainly would employ that

                http://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwo...acquiao-v-irs/

Why do people hate floyd for stating the obvious. manny owes the IRS $18.3mill, and the philippine govt wants $75mill (3.3billion pesos).. his whole fight check is getting snatched

but who cares if manny will soon be broke and fighting well past his prime like a mini holyfield. .all i care is that we'll finally get to see he was never on floyd's level to begin with

Pac does need the money, but not for himself and not because he's broke. See, unlike Floyd, Manny actually uses his earnings to provide for his people like building schools and hospitals and help his people out of poverty. BIG DIFFERENCE.
