Is that really what happened? Even though we know it didn't, lets say it did. Floyd is getting exactly that-0 cutoff, which was the whole reason we've been waiting this long.

As I said, maybe Manny changed because he needed the money. Teddy Atlas brought up the IRS but I thought that was addressed. Just give me a plausible reason why he didn't wlak away from 0 cutoff and a ppv% lower than 50?
You're all over the place here Dunn.
Simple reason he didn't walk away this time. The offer was fair. First time they balked because of Floyd trying to dictate new rules. I really don't understand how you are so unwilling to put any blame on Floyd for moving the goal posts so much after Manny agreeing to take the test.

Well it's good that Pac needs the money, moreover his career is nearly over so Arum needs to cash out now he couldn't walk away from this one like he did 5 years ago.

dude. 50% and 24/14 day cutoff isn't fair but 40% and 0 cutoff is? that sounds plausible? if so, ok.

OK, so he didn't like the rules-yet he put the same rules on Rios and is accepting them now. Thats the thread topic-Manny went from not liking the new rules to using them and now accepting them. why?

5 years apart, and things change. He accepted the drug testing years ago, but Floyd said he didn't get a PPV cut then. Manny had losses and was willing to take less if that's what it was going to take to get Floyd in the ring.
Why is it so hard to admit your boy is a diva expecting his balls to be licked.

Explain to me how a 50% offer with a cutoff turns to a No cut of PPV after agreeing to the "one" thing that killed the first negotiation. Explain why Floyd was running around saying take the test, we have a fight, changed to you accepted the testing but now you get way less money.

when have I ever not said Floyd wasn't that? You can't base my opinion on that based on this thread. Yes, Floyd wanted it his way, but we knew this then. the whole point of walking away was-I'm not giving Floyd his way. yet that isn't what happened. So I asked why?

Come on dude. that isn't what happened. we know when Manny accepted-after it was off table. it was off because Manny kept holding firm.

My guess-Manny walked away and Floyd decided he was going to make him pay. It was petty and unnecessary. Floyd easily could have given many the 1st deal again. Again, this stuff isn't the topic of the thread.

I hope Floyd goes full villain for this one. Get people emotionally invested please and thank you.

                    1 US Dollar equals
                    44.25 Philippine Peso

Meaning an average $20M fight of Pacquiao equates to 885M in Philippine Peso (as per latest Dollar to Peso). And standard of living is obviously lower in the Philippines, meaning one's dollar (or peso) can go a very long way in there than in the US.

For those who cannot understand that, let me give you a simple example:

***8226; 10 dollar meals buys you a full-lunch (say a McD lunch)...if you take that 10 dollars in the Philippines it is 440 pesos it would buy you about 4-5 meals for the same lunch...and you can buy cheaper meals also if one goes beyond McD...

So if anyone thinks that Pacquiao is in need of money, you obviously have no clue. Now chime in all his businesses from real estate (resorts) and properties, groceries to begin with - he is relatively richer than Mayweather who is earning Dollars and spending Dollars (plus higher taxes).

Pacquiao is earning Dollars and spending in Pesos.
                    Thats truly a great point....
