I am GGG fan but this was a bad performance

I am a big supporter of GGG but this performance has to ring some alarm bells for his fans. He was getting hit with a lot of combos cleanly and wasn't able to adjust defense wise. His response is go harder, throw more and go harder.

Kassim and now Murray are opponents without any power and they were landing all kinds of shots on GGG.

What they had in common - lateral movement and not being afraid to throw down.

Now Kassim was way past it and I don't know when was the last time Murray fought but he looked slow and clumsy as ****.

So far, GGG's bailing cards has been his chin and power but he's got a lof of holes in his game.

Golovkin literally allowed Murray to just hit him, a few times clowning around with his hands down.

But i dont like it, id rather he just box smart but the guy is also looking for the KO. The in your face pressure is unreal, as in the confidence

No fighter is flawless or unbeatable, it was a good dominating performance against a top MW. Murray is a fighter no one could find 10 maybe even 5 other MWs in the world who can clearly and legitimately beat him.

Not sure at all how telling is that.

IMO he feels the power in the first 2 rounds and decides wether he bother or not..

I agree not the best performance, but not many SMW would KO Murray.

When GGG fights someone who actually has some power it'll be an interesting fight. He can walkthrough shots because he has a good chin along with his opponents not having much power.

                No.

Murray is just a better boxer than GGG's other opponents. He has very fast handspeed.

In the early rounds Golovkin avoided punches, blocked them, etc. As the fight went on he didn't care about Murray's punches as they clearly weren't affecting him.

For me I was impressed with his relentlessness and ability to cut off the ring. He pummeled Murray and really walked through everything Murray had. I don't see any other middleweight doing that to Murray.

I am unsure but in the later rounds, 7 and onward, I felt Golovkin was literally letting Murray tee off. Dropping his hands for no apparent reason and get hit flush with a 3-4 punch combination. I saw that it wasn't phasing GGG whatsoever, but why?

I know he wants his opponents to get ****y and open up, but he must do it without letting them tee off on him.
