I think cotto fights pr day weekend. With his new promotional company he stands to make really good money. This is probably whats going to happen. Cotto may not even fight until September... It's only about 3 months off from June to Sept. If he's planning on fighting twice he better fight a WW so he stays healthy.
Cotto/GGG is never going to happen by the way, ever. I would say Cotto would be Margarito'd but I really don't think he'd last more than 3-4 rounds, he's way too small. Even though they are in the same division it's a complete mismatch.
If he waits until sept that might be too long.Comment

why not make Abraham vs Golovkin?
Both are non-natives who have made their homes Germany, both guys just fought within 1000 miles of each other, Abraham has no real interest in traveling to the US, and Golovkin "can't get anyone to fight him".
Put Abraham-Golovkin on at one of those German soccer stadiums, have the fight air stateside on HBO in the afternoon, and rake in whatever money there is to rake in in Europe.
Golovkin ends up in a fight, for once, where he's not walking in as a 15:1 favorite.Comment

I;d bet the house on Golovkin in that one. Abraham isn't what he was and he's certainly not busy in the ring.why not make Abraham vs Golovkin?
