It will be interesting to see what kind of a mix of fighters from both sides are on the undercard. So the big question is will there be a ShowExtreme card on TV the same day? They usually put 3 fights on TV same day on ShowExtreme that end before the big card. With HBO involved, not sure they will but obviously Showtime is going to be more of a dictator on things, even though it is a joint event.

So now this becames the perfect scenario to show off your new upcomming fighters and start building them as the next superstars. And remember this is targeted for the casual boxing fan that doesn't know, in this case, who is Lomachenko.

Don't mind those people who got used to seeing Floyds fight loaded with recognize fighters just to help boost the PPV buys. This is it. 5 years in the making, this one have full of excitements already no need to put big or more recognizable name under it. Like someone said, this is the best exposure to the next big thing. Completely forgot about pre-fight shows. I think SHO is having a day before boxing event on ShoExtreme. I also read that TR and TMT get to put 1 fighter/fight on before May/Pac.

I wouldn't mind Lomachenko for TR's choice, he needs the exposure and is very talented. The excitement will be there, but they want to keep the energy high as possible and with Loma they can't fail.

That's right, there is a huge Filipino contingent in the Hawaiian islands. I found out an ALE house in Kahului will be showing it for a $10 cover charge.
