We all know Jr ducked the prime elites of the day. Pac did not and took care of them as they came down the pike. Jr hasn't fought a prime ww elite in his LIFE. Why do you think he has avoiding and excoriated Pac all these years???

Jr has been taking easy fights for ten long years now, the last two exposed him. He barely made it thru the first and was washed out in the last. jr was rocked badly in the third round of the 2nd by a plodding forward ****er, a counter right. Maidana had no great speed, just timed poor little Fraud Jr, but now Jr will experience the sizzling straight LEFT that he may not see or will see and can't do anything about it. That straight left will come all night, but be ready for the right hook on Jrs head as he lifts it every time just right .

The difference is Algieri is a kick boxer they tried to sell us as a contender. Mayweather is the P4P #1 boxer in the world. Manny has speed and power but he will have to land punches to win the fight. You know Manny will get hit... Let's see if he can land punches against one of the best defensive fighters of all time.

hmmmmmmmmmm this is really funny like Really FUNNY. You may not want to go back to that round. Reality is real mang. A slow plodding puncher timed Jr and put him on ***** street, he grabbed the ropes to stay up and was visibly hurt.

Lets see, Pac is two to ten times faster and hits harder than Maidana, its the POP, the twist of the knuckles, turning the punch over, the snap from Pac with blinding speed Jr has never seen that will do little Jr in for good.

Pac has been too compasionate in the past but he won't be this time. He knows compassion is for after this fight. He will be seen as never before. Pac will be supercharged, Jr will come to his end and nobody will help him, well his daddy may charge the ring to stop the fight if Jr don't quit.

No, basing opinion on what I saw. I don't think he can beat Manny if he fights like he did in maidana 2. Maidana 1, maybe. But I think he needs to step it up and I expect him to.

I think well see the best of both fighters come fight night. I agree Floyd doesn't win if he fights the way he did against maidana 2. He needs to increase his work rate. But I could see him landing that counter right all night long cause we all know Manny can't avoid that punch. It's 5 years too late but I'm still souped for it. It's gonna be an epic atmosphere. This will be a close fight. Anyone who thinks this is an easy fight for either fighter, I suggest u dont bet your house on it.

Neither fighter has really ever fought anything really close to what they are about to. Floyd has faced faster opponents...and given he's fought more guys at higher weights, probably guys that hit harder.

But Pacquiao is the full package. Speed, power, left-handed, crazy-ass combos, much improved defense......Floyd has met all of those in some form or another but not all at once.......

Floyd is the most complete boxer at least since Whitaker or Leonard, and the best athlete since Jones and to top it off, he contorls space better than any fighter I have ever seen.........Manny's got an impressive list of opponents and saw a little speed with Bradley, and countering with Marquez........but he's never been in the ring with anyone remotely as fast, athletic and intelligent as what he's about to see despite Floyd turning 38.

I believe that Manny has a better chance now than 5 years ago because since he got KTFO, he is far more cautious and has tightened his defense while remaining fast with high volume........but make no mistake, there will be plenty for Floyd to go after.

Floyd is better at controlling space than anyone I've seen. Even when he's allowed himself to sit on the ropes, he's pretty much used SHARP countering to get off the ropes at will.......

Can everyone just agree that both fighters have always wanted the fight and that politics has just gotten in the way before and be happy it's here? Clearly neither fighter is now nor has ever been 'scared'........

And can the half-wits that think either fighter is less than great give that argument up?

However you see the fight, stop berating the other fighter and their fans. I'd love to root for the underdog, but the endless supply of Pacquiao fans that no nothing of boxing EXCEPT Pac, have made it very difficult to root for him because they are just flat wrong.

Mayweather fans......if you're really going to say that Floyd has never chosen an easier path than what most fans would have liked and that he hasn't played his share of games.......get real........please?

I think Mayweather will still win this fight. I think there will be some close rounds but I see it as an 8-4 type decision.......

BUT.......if there is one fighter that could get the benefit of the judges doubts by volume alone, it's Pacquiao as the crowd goes nuts with every flurry, similar to Leonard 'stealing' the fight from Hagler with ineffective barrages........

I think Floyd will have something special for this one. Manny too.......but the gap in talent and ring intelligence is a bit much.....and Roach won't be able to provide much help I'm afraid......

Hope Manny can get Floyd into at least a few trades......otherwise it could be quite boring.....

The only thing about the notion that Mayweather some how fooled his fans into believing that he was good by fighting weak competition is that a lot of his haters claimed that those fighters who are now considered to be bricks on his easier path to greatness would be the one to give him his first loss before the fight.
