As I've said all along, if Canelo's bratty ass would have been patient, he could face Cotto in June in MSG. But let's be real here, there's no way he would ever agree to do that.

This whole place was so quick to turn on Cotto for that fight not happening, but who's the one to blame now?

Not only do we have a meaningless (though potentially entertaining) match with Canelo/Kirkland, but now we have another crappy fight with Cotto and whoever the hell else he's gonna fight, most likely Bradley.

He could be fighting in MSG in June - but chose to play hardball and show his ego and pretend to be something he's not. He got treated like a child against Floyd but somehow thought he was entitled to boot people off their dates because of some artificial stance such as heritage. We could have two back to back blockbusters in May and June and we all would have thought of 2014 as a minor footnote in history.

I thought the Mayweather L would humble this boy and I doubt Kirkland's bum self is capable of teaching him something, so we'll have to wait for this dude to just get taught a lesson in humility

At least the Canelo/Kirkland fight is the following week and not PPV because no one can afford 2 PPV's in essentially a week apart. And no one would pay PPV for a Canelo fight other than Canelo/Cotto.
