Listen, ******. It is business and it was the best move by Canelo. Had he faced Cotto and chicken floyd anyone else not named Paquiao, he would have had more ppvs and fans than chicken floyd. Matter of fact, floyd´s fights are quite boring if it weren´t for the other guy who usually chases that coward. You could argue that one of the reasons Floyd finally fought Pac is because Canelo was going to take his date if he didn't. Canelo and Oscar maintained the only thing that would affect their plans is if Pac/Manny happened for obvious reasons. They, and many people up until this week, doubted Floyd would ever take the fight so they made their move. Starting next year Canelo will fight on May 2 for the next decade, you can believe that.

Canelo is fighting at Minute Maid Park...selling $15 tickets. Canelo could have retired Cotto at the Mecca of Boxing, in front of all of his fans, on PPV in a huge PPV fight, which would have gotten promotion on the Mayweather/Pac card.

Instead, he'll be fighting an inactive, china chin dude with mental issues.
