A lot people blamed Bob for the fight not happening until today. Floyd publicly blamed him, so did others. In the end, Bob was critical to this fight being made. Greatest promoter of all time.

I heard over and over that he would never let this fight and that never made a damn bit of sense to me. Clearly he let the fight happen but why would he not want it to happen? He is Pacquiao's promoter and the more money Pacquiao makes the more money he makes. I think he always wanted this fight to happen and did his best to make it happen and he is thrilled that it is happening. Even very rich men still love making more money.
