What does Hatton say about that:

British legend Hatton, who suffered the only defeats of his career to the pair, believes Mayweather would prove too good for Pacquiao.

On Twitter he wrote: 'Im hearing real progress is being made making pacman n mayweather, great news. I fancy mayweather.

'PAC nailed me as I was reckless, again. But Floyd was technically exceptional. I couldn't hit the F***** with a handfull of confetti. Ha ha.'

Ricky Hatton has backed Floyd Mayweather to beat Manny Pacquiao if the rivals finally meet in the ring. The two camps are keen to tie up a $100million deal to square up in Las Vegas on May 5 before Mayweather goes to prison.

What do you want Hatton to say?? He was demoralized from that KO by Pac.

He has never liked Pac since. Hatton put jr on his heels nearly down in round 1. Fair but firm was jumping in the latter rounds before Hatton could get started. hahahahahahahaha

In all of the fighters Pac and Jr shared in the ring Pac destroyed where JR didn't. Truth is OLD MAN ODH beat JR. Jr has always said he is going out to destroy his opponent but what does he do? hahahahahaha He couldn't destroy a banana if he were a monkey.

What we all want is a fair fight fair judges and a fair Ref and let the best man win and thats PAC. Fair straight up fight.

And for all you youths, this is NOT the greatest fight in the history of boxing.

Clay vs Liston,,,Ali vs Fraizer 1 and 3,,,Hagler Hearns !! Leonard Hearns 1

Leonard Duran 1 and the list goes on.

this is the greatest fight in this century !

Hatton was KO'd by both fighters, the difference, as "he says," is he couldn't touch Floyd, and "he was reckless" against Pac. Is there a difference from a fighter being KO'd from skill, and being KO'd from recklessness? Think before you answer: hint: Marquez IV. Could it be that Hatton was demoralized by KO before he fought Pac?

If Floyd beat "Old Man Oscar" at 154, in 2007, who did Manny beat @ 147 in 2008?

LAS VEGAS — With so much being made about weight, both fighters in Saturday night's main event came in light.

Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) weighed in Friday afternoon at 142 pounds, five below the welterweight limit. Oscar De La Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs), who hasn't fought at 147 since 2001, came in two pounds under.

Great fight! Could be the greatest. They both have lost a step or two but Floyd gets hit more now and Manny has been KOd by Marquez. Stamina wise, I would favor Manny. Floyd is smarter when it comes to boxing. Most of Floyd's opponent runs out of gas in later rounds, I don't Manny will. We might even see Floyd gets knockdown for the first time. Key for Manny is constant pressure.

We been through this before , you got to get past the ability to expose a cur and Manny is not good enough to do that , and so far I have not seen a single move in his fights that say he will quit to a smaller weaker guy , so I got a very slick bigger dog that is game in this fight .

Fights on , Floyd will win . engrave it in stone .
