how bout just let the fans at home listen to the crowd noise, let us decide who won the fight. . these commentators can sway opinion either way, them fools had me thinking floyd-maidana 1 was a close fight smh.. i saw it from a fans perspective who recorded and saw floyd winning 9-3 no controversy.

but i find it funny how pac fans want to ban paulie for being biased against pacquiao. .but these people had no problem with lampley and merchant doing floyd fights for damn near 10 years! Knowing they hated floyd.. it was all fun and games with them right... so paulie has every right to be there

al bernstein, he represents showtime, really don't care if he's there or not because he's past his prime.

basically HBO's crew is much better than SHO's.

3 person broadcast team works best, having 4 just doesn't work imo.

I think Al Bernstein is a no-brainer and so is Max Kellerman.

The play-by-play announcer will be tricky. Mauro is a bit over the top and i think he turns a lot of fans away but he's unbiased. Jim Lampley does a better job imo, he's more experienced, but he is also biased. He's had a strong opinion of Mayweather recently and his out of ring activities. I don't think Lampley should be considered, in fairness to Floyd and his fans. Is there someone else that can do play-by-play?

Paulie should absolutely not be considered for his obvious bias against Pacquiao. Making accusations that he has no evidence to back up. The last thing anyone needs is him talking down on Pacquiao throughout the fight and bringing up steroid and drug testing.

If they do choose to bring a fighter I think Roy or Andre Ward are good choices.

roy jones is on tape recently trash talking floyd, saying he's boring etc.

but i think both guys can put aside their bias though. they are fighters after all and there's certain respect between fighters. remember paulie doesn't like broner much but he gave him a fair shake during maidana-broner, imo.

Antonio Tarver is great , never heard him be biased yet. After him Andre Ward. I just want somebody that can break down the science of boxing.

HBO fired Merchant immediately after losing Floyd to Showtime. Merchant didn't help their bottom line and partially caused them to lose one of their two cash cows over to a competitor. Merchant hasn't been on any HBO fights since that moment, and it's funny some of you haven't noticed this fact.

Merchant will not be working anywhere near that fight for either network, you can bet on that. Lampley nearly got cut from being on the card whatsoever. So he lucked out.
