Actually, Pacquiaos explanation for not throwing much was that Floyd moved too much and so he couldn't throw punches. He clearly stated straight after the fight that he would have been able to throw many punches if Floyd had stayed still. That's on record, from Pacs mouth directly after the fight and has nothing to do with any injury. In fact, there was no mention of any injury at all amazingly!
He never mentioned any injury when it was most important and instead only said that Floyd and his movement was the only reason he couldn't throw more punches. If it was the injury, it would have been the very, very first thing he mentioned and it would have been the only thing he mentioned as to the reason he didn't throw a thousand punches or whatever other bull**** people think he was going to find easy against Floyd.
He's not going to lie on the spot when asked about it right after the fight and make up some bull**** about Floyd's movement being the problem if it was actually an injury stopping him throwing. He's never been afraid of giving excuses as to his losses and bad performances, so he would have been more than happy to say it, if it was true. He would have said the truth because being put on the spot directly after the fight didn't give him time to make up some bull**** excuse and lie about it. If it was an injury, he would have said it was there and then. But it was Floyd's movement and not the ridiculous excuse made up an hour later by his media promotions team for the press conference.
The only evidence needed is the simple fact that he was throwing the right hand often, and with power and speed all fight, all night, without any hint of trouble. In fact, he was using his right hand more than his left and landing it better during many parts of the fight right up to the end. Not the actions of someone with a severe shoulder injury stopping them from throwing punches is it, particularly as he was throwing punches.

Ask yourself does Manny beat Rigo if he was shrunken down to 122? you know the answer... I honestly don't think Manny could beat Rigo if Rigo fought him at 140 ... lol but that's a whole different debate.Comment

Bottom line. Pacquiao demonstrated the true dynamics of a warrior's spirit. He did the best he could under the circumstances and admitted himself that he was at 60% having to nurse his right shoulder for 12 rounds. That speaks volumes for the spirit of the man. the key is hitting first in an attempt to take your opponent out. Floyd fought to gain points but not cause any damage. Pacquiao came to fight. Floyd came to spar. Should have been a sparring match with headgear. Floyd's boxing tactics show much cowardice.
And that's the bottom line. Cheers! 47-1
An injured one handed PAc = or > FLoyd
even if you watch it over and over, wether he won it, he went tooth and nail with an injured one handed fighter. Now that's pathetic.
And that's the bottom line.Last edited by Spoon23; 05-27-2015, 11:53 PM.Comment
