this thread has become like a lounge where at certain times the clueless floyd fans occupy and at certain times the equally clueless pac fans occupy.

Both groups are equally ridiculous. First the pac fans cause the judges gave it to floyd:

A) bad form to bring the shoulder up. The surgery would have begged people to ask the question. Pac chose to fight.

B) for pac to think he had it in the bag and not leave it all in the ring....virtually giving floyd the last round in a close fight is the same mistake oscar did against tito...live and learn pac, you gave the fight away by not taking risks you could have taken...and to be fair you might have paid for those risks.

Now the equally ridiculous floyd fans

a) floyd won nothing...he got a decision in a fight that could have gone either way...a boxing clinic? Ridiculous assertion. Even senior could see it and was letting his son have it. Floyd fought scared depending on the judges. And in vegas hometown cooking feeds the city, sure...the judges were impartial you bet.

B) years from now what fans will remember is that floyd won a contraversal fight and that there was no rematch because this fight should have been a trilogy started years ago!

C) floyd fans have seen to be the more knowledgable of the two camps yet i see posters who i have looked up to drinking the koolaid in. It sad, like a cult or religion.

And no rematch necessary...unless it is fifteen rounds, no punchstat numbers and in a neutral location. And the judges instructed to not be afraid to call a round a draw, to call the fight a draw and...to let the fighters know midway if the fight is a draw.....and the fighters don't get paid if its a draw!!!!

Yes i am sprouting hypebole and being sarcastic.

Manny won that exchange. All Mayweather did was push, which is illegal in boxing.

To me it looks like neither guy hit the other clean. That first blow by floyd if it hit at all was behind the head because pac's glove is covering the target area, after that there is one shot pac throws but it doesn't appear to land, and even if it did from that angle who could tell?

I am really curious am i deluded? am I missing something? i mean that because I am searching for some parity on our perceptions regarding when one guy was succesful vs the other.
