100% accurate post, glad someone gets it. Marquez, Nacho...they warned him too. Pacquiao's best shot was to fight off instincts, not necessarily planning how to break Mayweather's defense, of course I personally think he would have lost steam, ate devastating counters but nonetheless it was his best chance. This goes to show that in the end, it was Roach who couldn't keep it together as much as he would accuse Mayweather of that.he needs to force floyd to play checkers with him.
might still lose but it's his best chance.
can't box floyd. can't strategize floyd. that's floyd's game.
roach overthought himself. i don't put stock in the injury stuff. i blame roach.
he overthunk it jmm3 too. tried to have pac counterbox jmm.

he was somewhat successful. He just can't miss pbf's jab and laser right hand.
pac needs to add some arsenal if ever there would be a rematch. be "dirty" if he needs to. he have to deviate a little against the rule book. he fights too kind.. he needs to "brawl" with pbf and you can only do it if you somehow deviate from the rule book. see maidana 1Comment

Nah Tua, in this case I'll have to disagree. Bradley fought ****** in the rematch against Pacquiao but guess what, he gave it his all. Pacquiao, knowing he was well behind decided that he wasn't gonna push any harder. Whatever fueled that is weird to me, still uncharacteristic of him and I guess Mayweather usually brings that out of his opponents but who expected that?Comment

it's not that uncharacteristic tho. He's become less reckless and more defensively minded. Fact is, Marquez changed his style. He's fought like this since the Rios bout, I dunno why people expected him to revert to something he hasn't displayed for 3 years now.Nah Tua, in this case I'll have to disagree. I saw that video earlier and I understand that, but it is uncharacteristic that he wouldn't push the issue knowing he was well behind, it still doesn't explain that. I was expecting Pacquiao to start shooting lefts, even if it meant getting tagged or looking like an ice skater/ or amateurish, I saw none of that willingness to win.Comment

LOL take it easy on the child guys. He's only 12 after all.

like 2nd half cotto, mosley, etc.
plus game plan it seemed was more to not get countered and be cautious.
like when floyd was on the ropes, he'd back off. that's all roach right there.
i kinda wanna see a rematch.
after jmm3, pac brought it jmm4.
floyd fans should wanna see it too, it might be more exciting and floyd might ko pac too.Comment

you know how pac said he thought he won?I saw that video earlier and I understand that, but it is uncharacteristic that he wouldn't push the issue knowing he was well behind, it still doesn't explain that. u think they told him to say that in case of decision before the fight?
or did he really think it?Comment
