pacquiao turned pro when he was 16 and i dont think you fully grasp the experience gained in the amatuers, esspecially in places like america, even the guys that dont make it to the olympics have faced numerous world level talent on numerous occassions

pac only started facing around that same champion level of skill 20 fights in his pro career

the very fact that he evolved so much shows how unrefined he was, and that he hadn't found his style/finesse like alot of experienced fighters show(he started showing the finesse in the morales rematch) veteran fighters usually can't adapt as well as pacquiao did, they have their style made up, he went from clumsly retreating to gliding on his feet throwing combo's
