Mayweather knows there's a good chance he loses u can see it in his face. Also been reiterating how "this 1 fight doesn't define my legacy"

Maybe because it doesn't? Nor does it for manny. But on nsb if floyd loses that means his whole career goes out the window and isn't even a top 100 boxerComment

HBO: great production value... Boring content(I could care less about liev schreiber's "inspiring" commentary)... At this point I'll take the lesser production value for some actual training footage... hell... I'll take a cheap digital camera phone if I can get something actually WORTH WATCHING...Biggest fight ever with the WORST build up ever... Go figure...Comment

When the fighter you're facing is the best fighter you've ever fought, then a win or loss will greatly impact your legacy.
If Roberto Duran lost to Sugar Ray Leonard the first time instead of beating him, his legacy would not be the same.
If Pacquiao beats Floyd then his position in history will increase significantly. If Pacquiao beats floyd his top 5 wins will be
1. Mayweather
2. Barrera
3. Morales
4. Marquez
5. De La Hoya
That's the resume of a legendary fighter. It's almost unmatched. You would have to go as far back as the golden era of boxing to find fighters that could match Pacquiao's resume with a Mayweather win. Without Mayweather it's still impressive, but not as much.
With a Mayweather win on his resume, Pacquiao is undoubtedly, undisputedly the greatest fighter of this generation, and arguably all generations.
When people say that this fight won't affect their legacy, I just start scratching my head. This is the biggest fight of the era, possibly the century, possibly of all time. Of course it will affect the fighters involved.Last edited by DARKSEID; 04-19-2015, 02:10 PM.Comment

Haven spoken (and interviewed) many casual fans of boxing, I can safely say the majority of casual fans/general public see Pacquiao as the bad guy and want to see Floyd win.Comment

Sounds good, sig it.
I feel he's got to land that much to win, so it's pretty much a Pac wins bet for me.
Can we agree it has to go 12 for the bet to count. Win or lose Manny had to land 200 punches.
May the best man win.Comment
