throw 1-2 to the body and then come up to the head. throw quick flashy punches to impress the judge and move out of punching range again. keep floyd turning and get off first. head movement is going to be vital as well as footwork

    cant wait for this fight
Zab's arms are longer than Manny's, making that a lot safer and easier for him to pull off aginast Mayweather without getting countered back, but I agree that a body attack is better for Manny than headhunting all the time against Mayweather. I've never seen Manny concentrate a body attack though.

bob arum talks a lot of **** but he is right about 1 thing, a fight of this magnitude deserved to be in a stadium.

thats a good point, i never realised zab had 72 reach and pac has 67 + i never seen pac throw a jab to the body, he does throw a right hook to the body though. floyd has such long arms pac is gona have to be on his a game in terms of footwork otherwise he is going to have a real hard time landing anything

Manny Pacquiao is set to face Floyd Mayweather Jr., boxing's pound-for-pound king, on May 2 and his trainer, Freddie Roach, views this fight as more than two superstars finally facing off. He called it a matchup of "good vs. evil."

Roach brought up Mayweather's history of domestic violence during an interview with USA Today Sports, and said both he and Pacquiao harbor strong dislike for Mayweather.

"Manny is really against domestic violence," Roach said. "It is a big issue maybe in the Philippines for him and being a congressman he can control some of that stuff. That is a big plus for me that Manny does not like the guy, I think the killer instinct is going to come back a lot faster."
fuck outta here with that killer instinct crap! just train ur guy to be ready to fight come may 2nd.

I agree skip, the mgm is way way too small for this event, the fight could have been in the uk at wemblay with 60k of fans or in barcanlona with 80k fans loool

but still no matter where the fight is, no general tickets and no CCTV, I fear its a gonna be boxing rage on the streets of vegas on may 2nd . . . .

Have you ever tried watching boxing in a big arena? After about the first 10k or so people you can't see anything. The atmosphere would have been more electric for sure, but you aren't doing the working people that big of a favor by handing out 70,000 pairs of binoculars so they can see what the hell is going on.

i rather be in the arena than to be standing outside, even if i cant see shiiet im sure i'll still be able to see whats going on better than if i was outside.

I've been trying to explain this to people. MGM has no bad seats. A stadium would have meant watching on the jumbotron.

LOL!! i remember pac vs marquez 3 or 4, i asked to see if seats that are in the 200 level any good and all the response i got from it was, im better off ordering the fight at home or go watch it at a bar.

I've actually been to the MGM to watch a fight. Reading this suggests you haven't been there. Who exactly told you this?
