Throwing a bunch of punches and backing him against the ropes isn't really a top secret game plan. That's no different than Floyd saying he's going to capitalize on Pac being reckless.

No one has backed Pac up for long stretches. In the instances that he has, Pacquiao has fought back every time. He has another gear he goes to when he feels the fight is close or if his opponent is hitting him flush.

Back in the day, he'd tap his gloves together when he got hit clean. Then he'd come back and attack his opponent. Pac is fiery in that way.

I can see Floyd standing his ground. But I just don't see Floyd 'walking him down' much. There's a difference.

I thought I dispelled that theory but up it pops again from a Floyd fan

I realise it's your fantasy to have Floyd come forward but it's not gonna happen until the second half of the fight if Floyd is down on the scorecards

Floyd has greater height and reach

If he comes forward PAC will throw that left whilst dipping his head right and spinning off to his right and if Floyd's feet and athleticism can't put him in a position to counter then he's screwed.

        "Floyd walks down southpaws"

Floyd walked down Ortiz - a mentally weak fighter and he didn't have the Showtime deal so wanted to be more exciting
Floyd walked down Judah- a mentally weak fighter and same as above. Judah had stamina issues also

Floyd did not walk down Guerrero- a mentally strong fighter . Had Showtime deal

He's more prone to getting hit if he walks forward. Just look at the Corley fight. Pbp/117-111 replied to me saying :

That's completely false. He's the one that needs to watch that fight. Floyd gets tagged several times clean throughout that fight

And that's a trait that's become common with Floyd fans- they don't deal with reality and want Floyd to win so badly they are making stuff up

        Class dismissed.
Floyd didn't walk down Guerrero probably because he's not only mentally strong but because he's physically strong. Marquez is mentally strong and he still got walked down, you slob loser . Floyd walked down every other southpaw he fought. Let that soak in while you're in "class."

Floyd will only come forward and walk Manny down if he feels he's trailing in the cards. Floyd has a great feel for knowing where he's at on the scorecards.
Anything can happen if he chooses to do this.

You know a fighter is good when getting tagged = having problems with him. It's ****ing boxing. You're going to get hit. He beats Corley 119-107, drops him twice yet he struggled in that fight.

Floyd is more prone to walk down southpaws yes I agree

But he's not gonna walk PAC down

He is gonna fight on the outside

Marquez was a blown up lightweight at the time who was outweighed by a comfy at the weight Floyd in 09'

Sit yo ass back down... Class isnt over yet, u need the passing grade lol

For the most part, conventional fighters have to walk down southpaws. It's the nature of the two styles. Whether that's more dangerous or not is your opinion. Could be. But bloody and battered? Please.
