Throwing a bunch of punches and backing him against the ropes isn't really a top secret game plan. That's no different than Floyd saying he's going to capitalize on Pac being reckless.

No one has backed Pac up for long stretches. In the instances that he has, Pacquiao has fought back every time. He has another gear he goes to when he feels the fight is close or if his opponent is hitting him flush.

Back in the day, he'd tap his gloves together when he got hit clean. Then he'd come back and attack his opponent. Pac is fiery in that way.

I can see Floyd standing his ground. But I just don't see Floyd 'walking him down' much. There's a difference.

If he comes forward PAC will throw that left whilst dipping his head right and spinning off to his right and if Floyd's feet and athleticism can't put him in a position to counter then he's screwed.

If he does come forward, he'd leave himself vulnerable. He did walk Judah down, but Judah let himself be bullied. He didn't throw much combinations back.

Floyd will only come forward and walk Manny down if he feels he's trailing in the cards. Floyd has a great feel for knowing where he's at on the scorecards.
Anything can happen if he chooses to do this.

For the most part, conventional fighters have to walk down southpaws. It's the nature of the two styles. Whether that's more dangerous or not is your opinion. Could be. But bloody and battered? Please.
