It's gonna come down to how Floyd deals with Pac's style & power

Pac could struggle to avoid Floyds lead right especially with floyds range

If pac can effectively cut the ring off he'll win by overwhelming Mayweather, hurting him and making him gunshy

If Pac can't cut him off then he will be frustrated and picked off all night

For those thinking Floyd can't be cut off, look to Cotto, Maidana & Hatton..then consider how Pac dealt with Cotto & Hatton

        It's a great fight

I don't know if you have notice, Pac does not cut the ring off and just follow him around if his opponent is moving to his right, but he cut off the ring quite good if his opponent is moving to his left.

He definately deals better with come forward fighters, no denying it. He's still very capable of dealing guys that are moving away from him though

IMO Floyds moneys is that lead right, left hook, he controls the pace & the jab to the body sets it up

If pac can set his own pace, evade the jab rather than slip it then he's in there

Marquez is a master counter puncher, he's more resiliant than floyd imo. That's not a knock on floyd, it's just to say Floyd wouldn't win taking the damage that Marquez has taken & still been victorious
Pac caused Marquez more than enough problems & at times was in and out leaving Marquez swinging
Floyd doesn't have the resiliance to bite down and walk through it...he does have the speed, timing, intelligence and that lead right

If you ask me who is going to win base on all the facts, data, records all the tangibles Floyd sure wins it no doubt. but the problem is those figures are there to be use for analysis, for the probabilities. the more figures and data you are presented the better the analysis you will come up to, the better the chance of eliminating mistakes increasing the percentage chance of winning. but this is not an absolute for there are also other factors to consider like intangibles - those that you can't actually measure.

My position is Pac might win this because of the intangibles.

If my hunch is right Pac wins and most of the people will look at their analysis and see where they done wrong.

I am saying this as a boxing fan's point of view.

As a business man point of view Pac wins close decision or questionable result there will be an uproar and a rematch will be made.

Floyd wins the rematch by a not so close decision. setting up a trilogy.

there's so much money to be made.

why Pac wins the first time? because if Floyd wins no matter what the result was split decision questionable or whatever Floyd will not go for the rematch.

This is a true 50/50 fight. It's a cliche but it comes down to who's style dictates the fight
An all out aggressive fighter is unlikely to beat Pacquaio, he owns that style.
A counter punch boxer won't beat Floyd he owns that style
Marquez didn't have the speed to beat Floyd & his natural style is to wait.
Pac had problems with Marquez because Marquez had a hybrid style, he was a natural counter puncher but had the ability to grit down, this was what gave Marquez the decisive victory in their last fight
Pac's in & out unconventional style with speed and power can test Floyd

                If I voted with my head it's a pick-em

Voting with my heart I've gotta go with Pac

Manny doesn't need to hold, elbow, hug, put his opponent in pillows, sucker punch, get the ref to help him out to win fights. Floyd does.
