Haymon allegedly is paying sparring partners off to not train with Manny. It's petty but Manny needs to spar. Roach tells Bob what is going on. Just pay them more and they will come. You fight fire with fire, again if this is true.
My guess is its more important to obtain the services of the sparring partners you want.Comment

No, just no. If true, then its just another huge turd from floyd. Why cant floyd just be a man and fight someone at their best rather than trying to diminish them, especially a fight of this magnitude. You just know that floyd is going to try allsorts of garbage in the 48 hours leading up to the first bell too. I hope he doesnt, but floyd never fails to dissapoint.....unless you're a bumsniff and not really a boxing fan.
SO what if he does, no different than say Manny threatening to pull out the Hatton fight at the last minute over money. No one says that caused the KO. Anyone who did would be an idiot.
If Manny loses, he loses. The premature excuses have to stop.Comment

Boxing coach Freddie Roach accused the camp of Floyd Mayweather Jr. of employing dirty tricks to shake up Manny Pacquiao's training ahead of their May 2 super-fight.
In an interview with ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo, the seven-time Boxing Coach of the Year claimed that Mayweather's manager Al Haymon is bribing potential sparring partners to convince them not to work with Pacquiao.
"I'm hiring sparring partners, Al Haymon's people calls them up and offers more money for them not to come," Roach said. "[But] I'm not worried about those guys."
Roach also explained in the interview why he is confident about Pacquiao's performance in the upcoming mega-bout.
why is TBE so shook as to resort to this?Comment

There is more than one way to address the issue. Haymon should rescind his offer to pay more and allow the sparring partners to train w/ pac on the previous terms. That would be the more equitable solution.Comment

would you do that?Comment
