I don't. I think Ariza's work is overrated and that includes when he was with Pacquiao. I think Ariza believes it though. The game plan and the skills are the biggest factors.Originally posted by Spacey1991 View PostDo any of you guys think Ariza will benefit Floyd?
Obviously setting aside the fact he has contradicted himself by hiring him, do you think Ariza will make him more explosive on fight night?
Ariza worked with Maidana and Marcos still had stamina issues. It's up to the fighter.

There's no money involved here with the poll..,can't gauge it.Originally posted by brickcityboxing View PostThe way I'm gauging the odds on here is the same way they would to it in Vegas it's just math.. The whole scenario is hypothetical but the point is that he's "favored" to win on NSB but he's a 2-1 dog in Vegas if your vote cost you money (bet) I don't think so many people would be clicking pacquiao...

Because it's not a pick em' fight if we are following the actual odds set by the casinos... So for it to be a pick em' here is more about people liking or disliking a certain fighter and clicking a button to express that... But if they were forced to actually lay money out I think the votes would be closer to the odds set in Vegas.Originally posted by HeGotPacProblem View PostWhy not if one thinks it's a pick em fight.

You're not going to get me to believe that you can't understand the concept I'm laying out for you... If 1000 people voted and they were even at 500 a piece how would you set the line for that ? Even money right ?Originally posted by HeGotPacProblem View PostThere's no money involved here with the poll..,can't gauge it.
Ok.
So if 800 went one way and 200 another ?
+400 for the dog right ... Or 4-1
If you were using this poll to set odds you absolutely could "gauge" it.
It's simple math bro not rocket science.

They seem to forget those things when it fits their agenda. If Floyd beats Pac prepare for the this win to be discredited too. "He should have fought him 5 years ago!" Blah blah blah... Can't wait for the fight to be over so boxing can move on past both guys.Originally posted by Chopper417 View PostIt's funny when you've been around here for a long time the stuff you hear. I remember back in the day a good 50% of the posters on here said he would never fight Mosley.....he fought Mosley. A good portion of the forums said he'd never fought Canelo....... At least half said he'd never fight Pac......same story different day.

Thanks for the sharing it mate haha!Originally posted by Aristocrat View Post
Hes made some good points, I'm mixed on it all, I don't know if I'd trust Ariza if I was in Mayweathers shoes, but then again if Ariza is genuine in wanting to prepare Mayweather the best he can then I think he could make a great contribution.

Good point, I think Maidana was better physically in the Broner and Mayweather first fight so I think he definitely helps his fighters. But like you said it depends on the capabilities of the fighter too, Floyd has great stamina anyway so who knows maybe just tweaking little things with him can make a difference.Originally posted by joseph5620 View PostI don't.
