What exactly could his old trainer have done to make him competitive?

      2. Never said SR didn't have a hand in Floyd's success just that roger deserves about 90%.. SR has never had any Shakir success in developing any other fighters..

      3. SR just piggybacks of Floyd's success, and somehow latches on to already established fighters like hatton, Oscar, dawson.. Had about zero success with all of them, though I will say he improved oscars right hand
Well based on the facts Roger doesn't deserve 90 percent of the credit or anything close to that. If you want to base things on non facts maybe 90 percent will be your number.

What trainer doesn't work with previously successful fighters? Roach has done the exact same thing. Zero success with Oscar and Dawson? Now you're just lying. Oscar-Vargas, Dawson-Adamek- Tainer Mayweather sr.

Fight the way ricky usually fights... How many clinches and inside grappling did you see vs manny.. Hardly none, and the only time hatton had any type of success vs manny was in those clinches and the inside...

I'm not saying hatton would ever beat manny, not matter the tactics, just that it would put have been as embarrassing..

You gotta dance with the girl that took you to the dance, you just can't change your style overnight, on the biggest stage and hope to become successful

$74M gate. So much for a $40M or $50M gate.

To do that he would have to force his way inside which is what he tried to do. However, every punch to the head was hurting him. No trainer in the world can change that.

Roger has been there much more than SR..

ALL those guys were already established world champs, and I'm pretty sure SR got with dawson post-pascal, but I could be wrong..

If you think SR is a great trainer, that's fine, but I think he is below guys like nacho, roach, etc..
Roach had took fat toney to cruiser championship and heavy contendership.
and to say roach didn't develop manny is just beyond absurd... Manny clearly developed as a fighter under years of roach tutelage

That's very true,,, I just think they should have tried to emulate the Sanchez fight, that gameplan is much better suited for hattons skillset

How so? Do you have access to a time machine? Or is this just you making a prediction like everyone else?
