    this is pretty cool

Manny Pacquiao received a friendly visit on Wednesday from an old foe whom he met in the boxing ring 17 years ago.

Pacquiao knocked out Thailand’s Chatchai Sasakul in 1998 to win his first of eight world titles, the WBC flyweight championship.

But this didn’t stop Sasakul from visiting Pacquiao in Los Angeles to greet his former foe ahead of his biggest fight.

“I'll say hi and say good luck for his fight,” the retired boxer told ABS-CBN’s Dyan Castillejo.

“I lost [to Pacquiao]… During that time, he was going up... He's so strong.”

Now 46 years old, Sasakul works as a muay thai and boxing trainer. He is on a business trip to Texas, but decided to drop by in Los Angeles to see Pacquiao.

I expect Manny to fight Floyd like he did against Marquez in their fourth fight. I expect Manny to start out aggressively, constantly bobing and weaving his upper body, moving his head, etc. Floyd needs to slow down the pace by digging to the body with the straight right hand, but he'll need be cautious and defensively responsible because Manny will try to hook him on the way in with his right hook if Floyd chooses to lead in with the right hand. Floyd must be defensively responsible from the get-go for that counter right hook of Manny's. Why risk the chance of leaving yourself open when you don't have to?

This is where Floyd must use his left hand to use the "touch and shoot" technique before he throws the straight right to the body. It still a risky move when he just throw the lead right hand upstairs because he can still get caught with a right hook counter, but I think he can get away with it when he throws it upstairs, but I am not confident nor think it's wise of him to lead with the right hand to the body without disguising it behind the left hand.

He must parry/touch Manny's right hand or occupy Manny's frontal He is vision with his left hand before he shoots the straight right downstairs. Again at 38, Floyd must rely on his effective techniques more so than his natural physical attributes. Manny is fast/quick, so Floyd needs to be on his A game from the get-go.

This is the best analysis on the fight I've seen yet. I am a Manny fan and want him to win. I think he's the best fighter of this era, win or lose because of his level of opposition. I think it's a 60/40 fight, in Manny's favor. Floyd has weaknesses as well. Manny will be harder to hit than many think. He is an underrated defender. He is hard to outwork/outpoint, too. His footspeed, handspeed, and workrate might win him the fight.

If I knew Floyd was cheating I would bet on him. You would be dumb not to.

Perhaps, but it is one of the least likely outcomes of the fight. Pacquiao has never stopped anyone at 147 and hasn't had a KO/TKO victory in over five years.

Yeah, I watch Thunderdome earlier. A lot of times in life, it's the guys who talk a lot about other people, and point out their flaws are the ones you have to watch out for. All of the steroid finger pointing by Floyd over the years. I think he did it to steer the focus away from himself. His behavior for this fight thus far has been highly su****ious. His arms are bigger as well. Just saying. Floyd is very sneaky, insecure, and devious. He WILL cheat if given the chance. He has Vegas, the ref, and the USADA in his back pocket. I do not trust him.

If the latest training videos indicate anything, Floyd will be getting off first because he's looking quicker (unfortunately). He might actually be able to pot shot Manny unless Manny summons the speed of old.

Was close to stoping Mosley. If you watch the aftermath of that fight Mosley told his trainer multiple times in different rounds that he wanted to quit. PAC just didn't want to press him since he develop that calf injury himself during the fight.
