Pacquiao's scared. Why else would he be smiling? He doesn't want to make Floyd mad. This is so obvious.

However as soon as we start that fear is subsided, adrenalin takes over, your thought process changes, you have other things on your mind. This is what Tyson is also referring to. It's these kind of emotions that keep us in check, it's how we control them that matters.
The type of scared people refer to for Floyd regarding Pac is the type that says he would avoid him at all costs, if that type of fear was still present then May the 2nd they would not be fighting is what this is about.
I don't believe neither Pac or Floyd are actually scared of eachother, the fight hasn't happened for many reasons until now, but I do believe it's more down to politics, interests and just general business as opposed to who is avoiding who. They are both to blame for it in the past, but it's made, it's happening, and I for one cannot wait.Last edited by MPX309; 03-11-2015, 08:47 PM.Comment

Mike Tyson: While I m in the dressing room five minutes before I come out, I m breaking my gloves down, I m pushing the leather to the back of my gloves, so my knuckle could pierce through. When I come out I have supreme confidence. I m scared to death. I m afraid. I m afraid of everything. I m afraid of losing. I m afraid of being humiliated. But I m confident. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get. The closer, the more confident. The closer the more confident I get. All during training I ve been afraid of this man.
Please to educate you yet again.
Next time you are paying school fees.
I think this man might be capable of beating me. I ve dreamed of him beating me. For that I ve always stayed afraid of him. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get. Once I m in the ring I am a God. No one could beat me.

I think what Johnm is trying to say is, well everyone gets nervous before an event like this, it is natural. . . I used to attend Judo tournaments when I was younger, obviously I didn't know who I was going to be fighting when I was there, but there was a sense of anxiety the night before, and traveling up in the car. . . Hell it's even there when you step onto the mat, you don't know this kid, you've never met him before, but you still have butterflies.

Finish a quote before attempting to quote..

Actually, Pacquiao's religion makes him fear God, you dummy.

Tyson conquered his fear. Will Floyd? Can he go through that mental battle.
Pacquiao ain't fighting God, and he accepts God's will whatever than may be.
There is nothing Floyd can do to shake Pacquiao beliefComment

Maybe, unfortunately johnm articulated to get his message across. I don't think johnm as ever been in a fight as well.
You could see the fear and anxiety in Floyd, he will need to get a grip of that come fight night, but he has to make sure it doesn't consume him in the mean time.Comment
