I don't know about that bro, Manny has a way of timing and countering his opponents jab. The jab is not the greatest weapon to use against him because he'll throw that left hand as you're throwing that jab. If you throw a weak jab he'll stun you with the straight left. If you sit on the jab and try to make it hurt the impact of Manny's counter left hand will get you even worse.

You need to turn Manny with the left hook to make him think twice about rushing in by using a good right hand to either the body or the head.

The jab is not the greatest weapon to use against him because he'll throw that left hand as you're throwing that jab. If you throw a weak jab he'll stun you with the straight left. If you sit on the jab and try to make it hurt the impact of Manny's counter left hand will get you even worse.

Floyd throws a looping right too. He throws it like a long looping right hook, but it's effective. He momentarily stopped Ortiz's and Guerrero's forward aggression with a few of them. I expect him to mix up his attack. Floyd just needs to let his hands go and fight smart and cautious at the same time. He'll need to stay active even if his hands are ****ed up. A few years ago, I thought the way he fought Ortiz would be too risky against Manny, but i now think he should apply some of that smart pressure strategy against, Manny.

Manny does most of his work at mid-range. He can counter you if your give him an opening while he's off the back foot, but he's not effective when it comes to fighting off the back foot. Just slowly walk Manny down behind the set-up jab, and dig downstairs with the straight right and follow up with a few lead straight rights upstairs. It's not like he'll get reckless and start winging bombs at Manny like Bradley did and get counter at the same time. He has the reach to apply that smart pressure strategy; he should do it in some rounds against, Manny.
