Standard procedure. Sharps wait until the public brings the odds down on Mayweather, then they bet him.

Tons of public money coming in on Pacquiao. Just the way we like it. If there's one thing the general public does poorly, it's bet on sports.

As evidenced by your lack of knowledge on the last few pages.
Weren't you going like a half an hour a go.

    What a heartless bastard.

Would rather talk to some guy on the internet about sports betting than go and pay his respects to the dearly departed.

Get your priorities sorted out John, I'll still have a few more lessons for you when you get back

I don't think pro-gamblers are great it either, Stu Ungar's biggest losses were at sports betting, it's just a difficult thing to get right with any consistency.

No contract done weeks ago. Floyd was stalling they waited over a week because he wanted to announce it.

The general public don't bet early as well. they are normally impulse gamblers who get caught up in the occasion and bet late on.

But that doesn't fit John's agenda or his theory, so he has to make things up.

Yes. Floyd is to blame for the lack of promotion time. He took ALL day and night to sign his side of the contract. Matter of fact, it took him months to even build up the balls to fight Manny. He is a narcissist who thinks he is better than everyone, including you and I. I cannot wait for May 2nd.

Says who? Ken Hershman? or Stephen Espinoza? Or Michael Koncz? Or Steve Kim? Who?? Please don't say Arum. Unless you're saying 10 people are lying and Arum is the only that's not.

              • Anyone else just not feel that same hunger for this fight?

I know, I know, you'll say I'm scared because I don't have confidence in the fighter I want to win etc etc ....

But it's just like... these guys are having their final cash out and probably agreed in principle ages ago that it would make best financial sense to leave it until the end of their careers as a big a$$ cashout.

They've had seven to nine 8 figure paydays since the interest in this fight was at it's peak so I guess it did make financial sense. Why fight in your primes when you can collect 8 eight figure paydays before doing so? I'm convinced they agreed in private to wait this fight out, like they say if it makes dollars it makes sense.

Still though, I remember back in late 09, this fight was scorching red hot, Mayweather was dancing circles around Marquez and was prime, Manny looked like a whirlwind against Cotto later that year and was unbelievably fast and prime, people from both sides were talking about the fight non stop, it's definitely lost it's luster somewhat, despite me being very keen on seeing it.

It would have bee a much better fight back then.

Mayweather has slowed a little, Pacquiao has slowed a lot.

Different fighters as well, and will have a different game plan from the fight they would have had 5 years ago.

We all knew the fight was definitely signed a week before. Preparation were already being made. But Floyd wanted to keep everyone quiet.

What else was Floyd stalling on, what were the issues?

Or was Floyd lying when he said there were still issue to be sorting out?
