Like others have said Ortiz and Lopez but also from that same summer Garcia and Khan. Many people seemed to think Garcia would be a walk in the park if I remember correctly. That was a fun summer.

forbes couldn't have won. he did put up a fight though.

he wasn't really picked to be an easy win per se as much as practice for floyd. oscar and floyd rematch was suppose to be next.

I don't know if Caballero vs Litzua could be considered a cherrypick for Caba but he was expected to win and looked really bad losing that fight.

Maidana vs Broner

dude, is your memory poor? broner asked the fans who he should fight and they picked maidana, why? because they thought he had a good chance to kick his ass. broner wasnt even that big a favorite going into that fight, it was far from a mismatch. ffs, broner only fought once above 135 and it was against the weakest puncher in the division. lots of people thought maidana wouldnt just beat him but knock him out. im not saying broner wasnt favored, but maidana beating him was a very mild upset. all the commotion was simply people being glad to see broner lose, not shock that he had lost.


but to get back to the topic.. raheem-morales if it hasnt been mentioned. hopkins against tarver, pavlik and trinidad too. nobody should have thought they were mismatches, its bernard hopkins. but most people did.
