Mares basically just said that he wants to fight Rigo again even though he knows Rigo might beat him, like he beat him in the ams.

Frank, honest interview.. didn't get any sore loser vibes at all, just a fighter who wants to try to avenge an old loss. Got to give him credit for calling out that fight because hell of a lot of people duck Rigo.

He brings up the booing because it must have left an impression on him in that fight. Rigo does get booed from time to time because of his style and Mares was only 17 so it could have been the first fight (or one of the first) he was in where the crowd booed another fighter severely, so he remembered it. It just happened to be Rigo he was fighting.

I think you're interpreting what he's saying wrong - didn't you hear him say that Rigo is a great fighter, and that he could get beat by him again, and that Rigo could beat anyone with his style. That is Mares showing Rigo a lot of respect.

Didn't they offer Nonito Donaire several million dollars to make the fight? I think they even posted the contract online but it was declined.

Then you go on to say he's worthless after one loss You probably claimed he was a hype job before he lost and now that he did he's a bum, Mares would never win in your eyes.

Mares still has a way to go in his career and his resume is nothing less then stellar. He has accomplished so much and is a former 3 division world champion and is situated in a position where he can fight many good names from 122 to 126, yeah... he's far from worthless.
