Former WBC super welterweight and middleweight champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez (51-3-2, 28KOs) stresses that he's still eager to returning to the ring, and he'll do whatever it takes to make that possible.

Martinez has been inactive since last June's tenth round TKO defeat to Miguel Cotto at New York's Madison Square Garden. The Argentine fighter has been dealing with various injrues over the last two years, with his knees being the worst.

He was shot after the Murray fight and should have retired then if he wanted to go out with a win. But I admire him tremendously for keeping going, keeping competing way past his body's natural limit to fight at that level.
