Former P4P and one of my favourite foghters I hope this fight only happens if he is in good shape, no need to risk the permanent ligaments of his knee.

I'd like to see him fight Willie Monroe, but realistically if he comes back it'll be a less mobile, light punching opponent, maybe Tureano Johnson?

Also if there was ever a candidate for being on PEDs in out of competition, Sergio would fit the bill given his age, injuries, inactivity and financial stakes.

One of my all time favourites, truly exciting to watch unlike some of these purists. He should take a fight to go out on a win, I would be in favour of a live dog like Mora for example, maybe hrs would be a little much to ask at this stage though. Sergio clearly had something missing versus Murray let alone Cotto, I said he was shot at the time when folk were clamouring for the GGG fight.

Chavez Jr. was his last real fight. Murray was a stunt he barely managed to pull and Cotto was a joke. Chavez Jr. should have been his last fight. The perfect redemption to a career of getting screwed. Fighting without being able to walk like he did with Cotto is just idiotic.

Agree with pretty much everything said here. IMO he should fight a B side fighter in Argentina or Madrid and call it a career. Dominated Chavez for all but about 45 seconds but his body was shot after that. Too bad he had to wait until age 35 to get a title shot, but boxing politics has effed over a lot of good boxers over the years, so it's no surprise. He could have been an alphabet belt holder five years earlier if given the chance.
