    George Foreman vs. Larry Holmes

    Wednesday: Rematch?
The fight that to save boxing: Larry Holmes on what it will take to get him in the ring with George Foreman

And, some say it's the fight that will save boxing. But what will it really take to get George Foreman (search) in the ring with Larry Holmes? We'll ask special guest Larry Holmes tonight on tonight's edition of "Your World with Neil Cavuto."

Larry said a Casino is *****g up money for them to fight, and that family of Foreman called to say he wants to fight, he was just on Fox News.

Yeah Holmes was on the radio out here talking about how he still wants to fight Foreman. He just needs to let it go.

prime for prime I would favor Holmes sharp straight punches against the wide punching Foreman

Can you imagine Vitali in his late forties to mid fifties still saying he wants a rematch with Lewis?

        Just joking...or am I?

I think the world of both Larry Holmes and George Foreman but Larry needs to give this whole thing a rest. Both men should bask in the glory of their accomplishments and feel good about the fact that they are both boxing legends.

What are you serious!!! Neither of these guys has anything to prove. They both were great fighters and to see them slug it out in a boring match would put a major dent in their careers. I wanna remember these guys for what they were not what they are now.

To save boxing?? C'mon, guys! Holmes and Foreman are history. And while they're legends in their own right, people will not take their fight as seriously as the prime fighters of today. People will watch them fight, yes, but only as great entertainers, not serious contenders!

This 'proposed' fight would be bad for boxing. Let's focus on the future!

Yeah, these guys are both in their 50s. I love both of them but who wants to see old men circling each other for 12 rounds? If this actually happened and was hyped it would do more to damage the credibility of hwt boxing than save it.
