Based on the fact he comfortably beat Froch. Carl Froch doesn't even believe he's the best Super Middleweight in the world. Why would anyone else?

Based on the FACT that the 2 Guys who are rated #1 and #2 (Froch and Abraham) by RING since his inactivity...HE ALREADY BEAT!

It's astounding that Ward hasn't had a single legitimate fight since 2011.

          Crazy!!

Good, cant baby sit the title for as long as you please.

and as it stands right now Froch is the number 1 guy in the division, since ward is still retired. When he comes back he can re-earn that accolade but not by fighting the Rodriquez of the world.

The fact that people are revelling in this and want one of the best fighters in the world to retire is quite a sad indictment on some of the so called fans on here.
I don't know who Was at fault but I do know he made about $2 million to fight the last scrub he fought. And he was built up by his promoter to be the face of HBO boxing after the super 6 tourney.
What was his complaint? Did he want $4 million for a Rod Salka fight?

It was HBO's decision to pay him $2million, they also paid Rodriguez $1million. Not Ward's fault.

Irrelevant really. What the hell are the Ring going to do with the title now anyway? Have it vacant? Woop de doo.

Froch beat Abraham as well and before Ward. Froch has done much more than Ward. Work beats no work.
