these ******* today dont realize that you can have a lot of hard great fights and still not get brain damage. brain damage is not automatic.

It is not automatic, I agree. But it is very probable. Ali, Blue Lewis, Ad Wolgast, Jerry Quarry.

I am around fighters all of the time. While many are not incapacitated by it, alot of them show strong signs of significant brain damage.

I still have a hard time hearing a NON BOXER calling anybody who steps up to throw down a pussie. But thats just me?

i loved it when miguel cotto and ricardo torres faced off in sept. 2005.

cotto was 24-0 with 20 KOs and torres was 28-0 with 26 KOs for the WBO jr welter title. two undefeated hard hitting fighters in their primes fighting for a title in what turned out to be one of the best fights of '05.

it was awesome.

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP. Cotto also beat a Pinto who was 21-0 19 KO's, a Maussa who was 17-0 16 KO's, The gold medalist Abdullaev who was really 16-0 12 KO's, any1 who seen his loss to Clottey knows that was bull shyt, and he was well on hsi way to winning that fight. And now he is going to fight a 21-0 Maligianni, Cotto fights some good fighters. I'll admit he hasnt fought an A fighter yet, but he sure is cleaning house on the B's and C's. He also fights most of his opponents when they are in their PRIMES,unlike Hatton who only fights guys either coming of losses or are old,or both.

IMHO the myth of the undefeated/unbeatable? fighter will remain in boxing forever ... it adds a lot of enigma to a lot of boxing questions real or imaginary ...

although, i dont preach this myth, my personal undefeated favorite is
Ray "Boom Boom" Bautista he is still very young, exciting and very promising but still a lot more to learn, whether he will be a champ or a great there lies the enigma...

Floyd Mayweather Jr., Miguel Cotto, Ricky Hatton, and Joe Calzaghe are the undefeated fighters at the top of the sport.Of course there are many contenders and prospects that are undefeated like Calvin Brock, Jaun Diaz, and Travis Simms but they don't compete at the highest levels of the sport like the other four.

There is just something that does it for me when I watch boxing and look at fighters records with a BIG ZERO in the Loss column.

Its kinda like finding a ****** for a wife (pretty damn rare this day in age)

I dont care how good a fighter is and what belts he has, a (1) in the loss column just ruins them. Even if the record is 71-1.

With this said, Id like to start with 3 of my favorite active boxers (all 3 Armenian ) and all 3 undefeated thus far (knock on wood).

All of you guys add your favorite boxer in as well, BUT MAKE SURE THEY ARE UNDEFEATED. Its their time to shine in this thread until that dreaded day of the FIRST LOSS comes. Put pics too.

i didnt mean it litterally, but i think that it does ruin them in a sense that they can never have their undefeated record again no matter what.

and you are right, i do have plenty to learn, as do all of us.

LOL whats' the point he's suppossedly the champ and has been for a while I'd stop ripping on Hatton and using Hatton as the "it's ok to be fighting B and C caliber fighters when you're champ" line.

I never once said Cotto is "the champ." Stop putting words in my mouth and tring to make me look dumb cause ur only chance is by putting words in my mouth. I never said Cotto is the CHAMP or that hes teh best. I think hes good and has the potential to become great. Cotto's not the so called CHAMP,thats suppose to be Hatton,that is why im ripping Hatton. But im done arguin w/ u bro its like trying to explain boxing to a rock,there is no point.
