Broner would beat the **** out of Algieri.
Can Adrien Broner even beat Chris Algieri?

I think Chris would be too fast, active, and accurate for AB who is very stationary and only seems to fight in spots while doing a poor job of defending when going into offense mode. He just doesn't seem to know what kind of fighter he wants to be or have the ability to combine strategies at the same time.Comment

The biggest ****** on nsb ^^
As for this thread, Broner fans will say he would win and Pacquiao fans (these tend to be Algieri's only fans) will say Algieri wins. In the end, who cares? I don't think Algieri will ever become relevant again at the top level.Last edited by fighter1234; 02-19-2015, 10:29 PM.Comment

My opinion is based on how each performed against a common opponent in Emmanuel Taylor. I'll give Algieri the edge in footwork and elusiveness but he doesn't have the power to keep Broner honest and he isn't consistent enough to be effective for 12 full rounds. Broner put Taylor on his ass in the 12th round showing that his punching power doesn't fade which will cause problems for Algieri the moment he begins to fatigue.
I would have to go with Broner in a close and competitive fight with glimpses of Broner/Malignaggi except Algieri gets knocked down at least once.Last edited by IR0NFIST; 02-20-2015, 01:17 AM.Comment
