So Cotto's leading candidates are Bradley, Rios and Algieri?

    Because, that's what's up. Who wasn't a WW? Don't come with that JMM ****.

Agreed. Bradley needs to fight a name guy at WW. Winner of Thurman-Guerrero would be ideal, but I guess that isn't likely. Maidana would be a great fight for Bradley, and I'd like Maidana's chances in it too. However I would much rather see Garcia vs Maidana, to me it would be an even fight but I'd pick Maidana by UD. Cotto needs to fight a d*mn light mw or mw. When you are the MW champ, you better act like it. I would be ok with the idea of K9 Bundrage for the first half of this year if I knew Cotto-Canelo would be made by the end of this year.

All 3 would be bad fights. Bradley might actually be a decent fight but only if Cotto vacated the middleweight belt and fought him at a lower weight...the idea of Bradley fighting for a middleweight title is horrible. Bradley would get respect for taking the challenge and Cotto would lose respect for fighting such a small guy for the 160 belt.

This. Cotto is not a middleweight. He won't venture in the division and will have to vacate after GGG wins saturday. Algerie as an option is complete joke. Can't imagine Rios or Bradley being asked to move up past 147 to 155? None of the 3 fighters make any sense unless he drops the belt and moves back down. I was expecting the pototential opponents for Cotto to be JMW's moving up to a catchweight between 155-158.

Because Canelo didn't wait for Floyd/Pac to play out and he stop negotiating. Now, Canelo isn't fighting on May 2nd anyway he's fighting the week after on HBO against a punching bag. Instead he could be negotiating or even signed massive payday and great legacy fight.

Cotto shouldn't fight Bradley for the MW title, I think that's a farce. But, if they fight at 152 on HBO, why not watch. It'd be one of the better free match ups they'd have all year. Canelo/Kirkland will make for a good fight too, I don't hate that fight just Canelo getting his panties in a bunch and walking off.

Aren't titlist's supposed to face top 15 ranked opponents in voluntary fights? WBC allowing duck chickenson to fight bika who at least is top 15 at super middleweight. Neither of those 3 mentioned are ranked at 160,154, or even 147 by the WBC.

Im being completely unbias here but Cotto needs to stay away from Rios cause Rios would completely destroy cotto and retire him.
