Yeah a big criwd would be cool but im in Vegas this weekend so i want it all. Parties, clubs, poolside...a full weekend eventVegas is a great place for the festivities surrounding the fight with all the fans and parties centralized on the strip. Dallas is a dull town and you'd have people scattered around the metroplex.
Just would be cool to see 100,000 boxing fans together for this historic event like the Groves v Froch fight
DAMN!!! I cannot begin to tell you how excited i am getting!!Comment

Who honestly wants to go to Arlington, TX? Commit at least 3 days, pay whatever it takes to get out there, and then spend the lead up to the event in Arlington, a nice town without much else to see but JerryLand.
If the objective was to truly put on a stadium event, why wouldn't the fight go to the Superdome in New Orleans?
You get the spector of 60,000 fans coming to the fight, while also giving those fans a slate of activities to enjoy in the Big Easy, making an actual week of the fight.Comment

16k seats at the MGM Grand, with likely the most expansive closed circuit push in the history of the sport (20k-30k seats across all other MGM properties). Honestly doubt that the face value of the closed circuit seats will be over $100; once the tickets sell out, and the secondary/tertiary market gets going, the CC tickets may end up going for $150.LOL seriously..and I wonder how many tickets will even really be available for the general public. After all the celeb, politician, and high roller tickets are reserved..they'll probably have enough tickets left for 2 or 3 boxing fans lol.
I am hoping that enough Pac fans get in so they can do the Manny chants to make the atmosphere that much better
For Maidana 2 the closed circuit was damn near $100, so I bet this one could be $150.
At a certain price point, even if folks made the effort to get themselves to Vegas, it makes more sense to go to a pub/club and watch the fight, or watch at the house, rather than deal with the closed circuit.Comment
