What's his best win? An ancient Willie Pastrano?

A past prime tiny LHW **** Tiger beat him twice.

Who did Torres beat to make you think he beats Kovalev?
the fact that Kovalev couldnt stop a 50 year old man and that, if you actually go back and watch Torres fights, you will see that he was a better overall boxer.

However, if Kovalev has a good run, then we can have this fantasy match up. This one is even more ridiculous than GGG/Hagler

This forum has turned into an ethnic clash. It's all just if white, we'll support all the whites, if black " ". That's all it is now.

However dan, your worse cos you actually act like you know boxing

Hopkins hasnt and likely never will be stopped. He has an ATG chin and also is hard to hit clean and often aswell unlike Torres who isn't reallt difficult to hit at all. Kovalev would hit him and he would hurt him. Where's Torres advantages?

How is this more ridiculous than Hagler-Golovkin? Hagler is an ATG, arguably the best MW ever. Torres isn't even a Top 10 LHW of all time.

          Another woeful comparison.

You haven't brought anything to the discussion not refuted anything.

You asked who Kovalev has beat. Who did Torres beat? Go on, give me his list of wins that make you think he'd beat Kovalev.

He got the hell beaten of him, by Florentino Fernandez. Do you think Fernandez would beat Kovalev?

Eddie Cotton beat him in most people eyes. Do you think Eddie Cotton would beat Kovalev?

How would Torres beat him? He's going to out fight Kovalev? Beat him on the inside? Out punch him?

          Please. Not happening.

You ask me to go and watch Jose Torres I think you should take your own advice.

You obviously watched the "master defense" highlight video.

Go and watch his fights in full.

Go and watch his fight with Eddie Cotton and **** Tiger or Florentino Fernandez and tell me if he beats Kovalev.

Torres would be mauled or outpointed, whichever Kovalev felt like on the day. A one punch at a time fighter isn't beating Kovalev.

He slipped punches well at times yes, but like other D'Amato fighters not consistently.

Late in fights especially he was not hard to find.

He wasn't hard to find in general despite slipping some shots.

Go and watch full fights then re-asses your view.

Eddie Cotto, Fernandez, Tiger, Pastrano, they all all able to view.

This place is going to the dogs.
                    Amen...

Imagine what Torres would do to Nathan Cleverly and a 50 y/o B-Hop.

                    He'd catch a manslaughter case.

Kovalev was KTFO in FULL headgear in his last amateur fight and dropped by featherfisted Campillo.

Torres would beat the lice off that trash.
