Haymons has boxing on 80 million channels though, he saved boxing. Who cares about the piece of **** matchups, BOXING!!!!

I'd rather go back to only 5 people watching a fight, but truly appreciating the skill and the guys fighting LIVE opponents. Stevenson and Bika... Chavez and Fonfara. The only remotely interesting fight in my opinion out of everything announced is Thurman/Guerrero and Garcia/Peterson. And I lost all interest in the Garcia card when two 140 champs are fighting at 143 and not for the titles. Then why the **** are they fighting...

Only thing I don't really like is boxing that early. I'm Pacific time so these shows are 12:30-1:30. Not a big deal, just personally prefer my boxing in the evening.

HBO is stepping up themselves and putting on some great cards
$20/month. January 1 fight. February 1 fight. March 1 fight. Plus they turned their back on American fighters. They deserve this.

ONLY if its good matchups.....if not, then it will isolate the sport we love more than it already is

I'm fine with them turning their back on American fighters. I'm American and we're some pretty big p*ssy's in the world of boxing. Leo, is Mexcian but he's born in the USA... he's American. He's a ****ing coward who won't fight anyone. Stevenson is Canadian, he's a ****ing coward too. Danny Garcia is PR, but he was born in America, and another p*ssy.

HBO has American fighters also you tool, the only thing is you aren't allowed to be a p*ssy on HBO, you have to actually fight guys. So guys like Bradley and even ****ing Algieri gets more credit than Garcia and Leo. I'll say it again... if an American fighter is a p*ssy he should have people turning their back on them. Just like Danny and Leo and Stevenson...

Oh and if you are paying $20 for only one boxing match, then cancel your HBO. If you don't watch Game of Thrones or True Detective all you're doing is wasting your money.

Casual viewers don't care for boxing. They hardly care for MMA and WWE these days and both are on the downtrend. I see this as a move to flood the market with product and hope for best. IMO, for boxing to change it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up at the amateur level to the pros. If top dollar was spent on development of the youth programs and facilities, it would translate to higher caliber boxers in the pros. Haymon is attempting the trickle down economic model here, and I don't think it is the right move. Boxing on network tv is great and all, but we need to make it a community/neighborhood sport for it to thrive again like we want it too.
I agree with parts except I truly believe this can blossom and I believe this is a really good idea. Kids these days have been raised on basketball, football, baseball, hockey, etc.. i see this as a chance for this sport to help inspire the young kids to want to become boxers. They are going to see it every day they are going to get to know the sport much more they ate going to see that they make money and they're going to see that people are excited.

I like the move and am all for it.

I'm all for greater exposure, but not at the cost of boxing's long term health and integrity. I also don't want a sport where the most prominent fighters are like Floyd. Thurman's personality I can handle, but a transition from Floyd to AB and his ilk, with azzholes essentially gaining a title monopoly and getting the most promotion... no thanks.
