As much as I want good, meaningful matchups, quantity is more important for me. There have been mismatches on paper but turned out to be good, ie, Bradley vs Provodnikov, etc. I can't go on paying for monthly subscriptions when you end up waiting for weeks and weeks for fights to come up. There should be boxing events every week for it to become mainstream. If Haymon can do that, what is there to complain about?

      No issue with it.

PBC will be putting on cards almost every weekend it seems.

So far i like the direction the sport is going. Get more people interested.

For fridays i have baseball and during fall/winter i have a wife

So, fight cards once a month and no broadcasts during college football season...I guess that means about 8 cards a year, going from January to August.

That would be a significant reduction in the number of boxing telecasts on ESPN/ESPN2.

If they put on better fights than its well worth it. FNF is great for hardcore fans but the ratings were relatively low. Besides, there are still the GBP cards on Fox Sports to get your fix. Also do what I do sometimes-solo boxeo with the volume off since I am not fluent in Spanish.

I do hope atlas is retained. I like his knowledge, freshness and honesty.

It's not just that there's no longer going to be FNF, it's that ESPN is no longer pay for boxing because of all these time buys.

this means haymon will be fronting the money right? which should force him to make compelling fights with bigger names to get advertisers more interested.

Hopefully he also expands the better divisions like 120/126 and Cruiser.
