Khan should fight the winner of Guerrero/Thurman or the winner of Garcia/Peterson. If he does the same thing this opponent as he did against Alexander, then you can say that he has a chance of beating a 38-year old guy who is eight years past his prime.
And it's no coincidence that was the last half decent pressure fighter he faced.

      My thoughts exactly

Exactly - Collazo was shot, Molina was irrelevant, Diaz put Khan down and Alexander is not a true WW.

Khan has done nothing to show he is any type of threat at 147 at all.

And Khan's fanatical followers believe he would be successful at 154!

        GTFO.

I think that assessment is what Khan is banking on as selling him into the fight. As well as his fans and various writers agree that Khan's style (length, speed, movement, combinations) would make Mayweather uncomfortable.

While I do believe it would be a bit different for May, I don't see Khan winning in the next year or so. Maybe if Floyd fights beyond 40, but I don't see that happening either.

I don't think comparing Alexander to Floyd is the best thing to hang your hat on. Khan isn't a great attacker or defender. He doesn't make you pay. He like to control with a basic plan, but can be roughed up. Floyd has more natural and mental intangibles.

The only reason there is the comparison is because Khan beat a conventional, black fighter with a boxing style. However, that doesn't translating to beating Floyd.

Khan beats duckweather and makes him pay for ducking him for 4 years now.

i think floyd would take so many chances with khan..khan cant hurt him..khan cant hurt anyone at 147...floyd knows he can hurt khan..it would be early night..khan would have right hands from front places he doesnt see when he jumps in on floyd...floyd wont even be looking at the punch..khan doesnt want these problems..floyd is a new class and to be honest his body movments are faster than khans hands imo..
