Let's be honest here for once, during that phone call, if May reconsidered his offer let say 60-40 in his favor, gloves and ring size in his favor, blood testing, etc. etc. would you think Marquez/Pac 4 would have happened?

No, because, like I said in my in my post, Arum had already advised Mayweathers camp that they weren't interested in making a fight with Mayweather because they were pursuing another Marquez fight. This is a fact, no matter how badly you want it not to be. The only reason Mayweather contacted Pacquiao directly was because of that fact.

I'm struggling to understand how you consider a 2 minute conversation a negotiation in good faith. It's not. there have only been 2 ACTUAL negotiations in the last 6-7 years: 2009 and now. Now that everyone that can actually make the fight happen are involved, it looks like the fight will happen.Everything else is posturing through the media with nothing tangible to show for it.

flomos have a weird way of thinking... they praise marquez for knocking pac out and say marquez and floyd fights the same so it will be easy for floyd and then they make comments like floyd is gonna dominate manny, etc.

This post is spot on. Pac's record is legit, it is only when Floyd's opponents have been questioned, is when the controversy starts. You can't dismiss Floyd beating Oscar, and then give props for Manny beating him later and at 147 vice 154. You can't dismiss Floyd beating Hatton, and then give credit for beating the same man at a later date. You can't dismiss Floyd beating Mosely, after he KO'd Margarito, then give yourself credit for beating Mosely, after he had a draw with Mora. You can't say Floyd weight-drained Canelo @ 152, then say you'll only fight Canelo @ 150. You can't tell people to boycott the fight against Maidana, and then fight Algeri. You can't say Maidana didn't deserve a rematch, but Bradley did. You can't say Ortiz was not worthy, and then fight Rios. You can't say Floyd is scared of southpaws, and then NOT fight southpaws.
