According to Roach, yes they did walked away from the FIRST negotiation. Now tell me this, what happen on the 2nd negotiation? Was the 40 mil offer without any upside is fair with these kind of money it'll generate? Was Arum's name included as one of his demands on their previous negotiations?

Your right and Pacquiao throws faster more accurate punches. Pacquiao also uses those strong legs he has to jump in and out of range while throwing feints.
IMO Pacquiaos speed is going to give Floyd big problems.
But if Floyd does fight Pac I'll be taking him off my Shield list and win or lose he deserves credit. I've been begging for this fight for years. It's like Christmas lol
Who else was out there for him to fight with blazing hand speed besides Pacquiao? Khan is not in a class with Manny and would not get him prepared for what he would say with Manny. The only one is Martinez and it was a reach based on size difference and the fact that Martinez was never at 154 while Floyd was. He just said he would bring himself down to the weight if it was Floyd.

Even the list of people he ducked Margarito, Paul Williams didn't have blazing hands.

You do know that the actual fight is probably the least significant in terms of preparation right? The sparring and training for 3 months are way more important for preparation than a single 36 minute fight that he won't even remember. Furthermore hand speed is only one attribute out of many(Which someone as experienced as Floyd has already seen many times over the years).

There is nothing quite like Pacquiao's speed and hand speed so nobody can exactly get you prepared for a fight with him regardless of who he fought, should have fought, or sparred with.

I thought May wants the rematch clause if ever he loses and none with Pac? I guess Manny told him on their last meeting that if I can't have no rematch clause, so were you. Man, one and done? I thought it'll be a trilogy?

That wasn't a 'negotiation'. That was Mayweather having a 2 minute phone conversation with Pacquiao. Arum made it clear during that time that he was pursuing a Marquez fight for Pacquiao, which is exactly what happened.

Or am I making that up?

Good point. I got to laugh when someone here say that it's an easy fight for May, that he'll dominate Pac because of he's size advantage. If you really look into the advantage and disadvantage, Floyd has more advantages on his side compare to Manny. Only advantage for Manny is he hits harder than Floyd. Hand speed? I say they're almost equal, only difference is Manny throws multiple combos while May shoots 1,2, then clinch or push his opponent aside to avoid getting tag.

It will be a very tactical boxing match, I say boxing coz Manny will not gonna go there balls to the walls. He'll be aggressive whenever he gets May against the ropes. But he can't box all night long either or else it's gonna be a long night for him. He need to feint, cut the ring off effectively and hit May where ever legal part of his body. Avoid getting into a clinch fest, when May try to clinch, shoot a short compact uppercut. He needs to counter May with a right cross and straight left whenever May tries to hit him on his midsection. Finally, whenever he gets May against the ropes? Let his hands go like he did against Oscar and Timmy, he'll land some of his punches guarantee. It'll be a close splits decision.

So, offering him money is not consider negotiation? Oh yeah, coz once Manny handed the phone to Koncz he immediately kills it?

Let's be honest here for once, during that phone call, if May reconsidered his offer let say 60-40 in his favor, gloves and ring size in his favor, blood testing, etc. etc. would you think Marquez/Pac 4 would have happened?

my question was about the first negotiation brother thats it thats all, u said according to roach yes... so this tells me all i need to know... when this fight mattered the most pac man and his team walked away... thats really my only point

after that both sides were on some bullsht to be honest... ivenever denied that but arum is really the real reason the fight hasnt happened... none of these fighters are scared of one another.

at the end of the day the FACT is this: when it mattered it was team pac who ruined it... over a drug test he now demands...
