Terrible stoppage but he was going to get knocked out anyway.

I'm not very familiar with either fighter. That stoppage was awful though.

Borderline stoppage on this one but I'm siding with the ref - when you allow yourself to have multiple power shots landed on you without throwing anything back, you will always run the risk of the referee stopping the fight. Rose was clearly hurt and showed no sign of throwing any punches - meanwhile he was hit with multiple power shots. Had the ref not stepped in, Rose would have had his head nearly knocked off at the rate things were headed. Specifically, watch the 2-3 punches that landed as the referee stepped in - It was the right call.

He was on the way to getting knocked out before the ref so anxiously jumped in . Looked like it even took him a few seconds to realize the ref had even stopped the fight .

Finally I get to take a look and assess this stoppage.

Its pretty terrible, he was buckled but who knows what could have happened if he was given a chance to fire back since he was able to hurt Jones earlier in the round and Jones is not hard to find.

Carson Jones Stops British Bum

The bum was out on his feet, so the ref had the obligation to stop the fight. The ref's duty is to protect the fighters when they can't protect themselves. It's not the ref's fault the Brit is garbage.

It's a real pity that Carson's spectacular performance- coming up a weight class to run over the Hometown Zero- has been swept under the carpet by the bum's whining and poor sportsmanship.

dude ate 10 shots without throwing back and his legs were wobbled.
wasnt clear/smart enough to take a count.
and the way he behaved after the controversial stoppage, makes me feel no pity for him.
