hehe...like someone said this isn't genuine, like someone said its an insult, JT has said some crap about JC how he is a bum and other negative things about Brit fighters so now because he looked like a fat mess against Rahman and Joe looked like 'the man' against Lacy he is in a position to take the piss.

How is this cowardly its a joke, and Toney is an arsehole when it comes to brit fighters, I bet Joe has been waiting to say this for a while.

geez, man. one thing not to like toney, its another to spit on his accomplishments. how does calzaghe have more to show in his career? toney has been more active with almost twice as many fights, with a much higher level of competition, recognized championships in three weight divisions, has been competitive as a regular campaigner at heavyweight after coming from middleweight. and you listed arguments against his top level competition, fine. but you forgot to mention the nunn win so do you give him that untainted win against a top p4p guy? oh, and toneys first win over mcallum was when mike was 36 not 41. i cant even argue against calzaghe's opponetns because it is pointless and there is no argument about their quality to begin with.

well, to use your argument, show me the names on lacys record. so, calzaghe has a win over the supposed supermiddleweight savior with no one on his resume, but toney has a win over the established MAN at cruiserweight who you argue had no one on his ledger, who is much, much bigger and stronger and was twice as feared at the time. joes win over lacy was really good and impressive, but the people who put him on par with rjj and toney simply because of that is not right, imo.

Iran Barkley who? show me one good name on Jirov's record, same with John Ruiz.
You listed me a bunch of has-beens and nobody's, Calzaghe hasn't fought stiff competition but he has got alot more to show for it than Toney.

Guys, if this is a real quote (if so where from?) its a piss take, can't you see that???

Joe knows that this will piss Toney off and thats the whole point, its obvious Toney couldn't make SM, christ he couldn't make LH.
Toney is a trash talking lard arse who is doing well in the weakest Heavy divison of all time, he was a great fighter in the lighter weights, now most people outside of his nuthuggers look at him as a kind of a freakish joke, I mean how can a so called top sportsman be so fat, I mean Hasim Rahman isn't in his league technically but with all the extra weight!!!

Joe if he said this, said it with tongue in cheek!
