i challenge sam peter to a fight at featherweight.

and toney beats calzaghe at 168 in their primes. jirov was way scarier at cruiser than calzaghe ever was at super middle.

Joe may aswell be calling out Butterbean because he has as much chance of going down to 168 as Toney does, I can't believe this has evolved into a discussion lol, talk of Calzaghe moving up to 200 is utterly crazy, the highest he will be moving up to is light heavy, and he will retire there most likely.
Toney wouldn't beat Calzaghe, if it were prime for prime at 168, Calzaghe would have glittered big time, does that answer your question Gunstar? After Toneys sluggish performance against Rachman, I can't believe you're comparing him with a top 10 P4P guy. Toneys best performance was against a bum named Iran Barkley, Calzaghe's best performance was against a human wrecking ball in his prime, who was expected to knock out Calzaghe in the early rounds. Calzaghe isn't the only one who's made a ridiculous call out, I mean look at Tarver, and Toney for that matter, please, for everybodys sake, lighten up.

hahaha... yo son, lacy is a good fighter, but your talking like calzaghe beat a hall of fame guy. truthfully, lacy was agood young guy with a mere 20 fights under his belt. do you even know your history? toneys best performance was against a 'bum' iran barkley? toney beaten michael nunn, mike mccallum, barkley, charles williams, vassily jirov, evander holyfield, ruiz, well sort of,

calzaghe's beaten... no one even close to those fighters caliber or threat level. and people who believe toney would lose to a left handed pressure fighter, well, he destroyed jirov who was a much fiercer puncher than joe with the same output. jirov would have eaten joes lunch. oh, and toney would have stopped lacy in their primes.

If Cal puts on 40 LBS to fight Toney, I think he will be slower then Toney at that weight. I don't see how Cal's speed gonna help him with the extra 40 LBS.

It makes me laugh how before this fight Lacy was considered a Super Middleweight saviour, now he lost he's just a 'good' fighter, please, Toney beat a past prime holyfield, a 41 year old Mike Mccallum, The same Charles Williams who had one of the worst chins in boxing? Iran Barkley who? show me one good name on Jirov's record, same with John Ruiz.
You listed me a bunch of has-beens and nobody's, Calzaghe hasn't fought stiff competition but he has got alot more to show for it than Toney.

Oh yeah, I am sure Calzaghe is serious.

In fact, right now I would like to take this time to personally call out Lennox Lewis for a fight. Lennox, if you read boxingscene.com, I am calling you out and challenging you. Any time or place. Or are you scared?
