Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has blames promoter Top Rank for the ups and downs of his boxing career.
Chavez and Top Rank are currently involved in a legal fight over the Mexican boxer's promotional contract. Last year, Chavez claimed to be a free agent and signed on with manager Al Haymon.
Top Rank filed a lawsuit, claiming Chavez was still obligated to them for one more fight.
Chavez can't blame all of his problems on Top Rank. The boxer has had struggles with his weight, failed two drug tests for banned substances (marijuana and diuretic) and got arrested for driving while under the influence.
