Well however he wants to call himself, whether manager or promoter, essentially he is just doing a mixture of both roles.

ya but i dont think he is going about it like a normal promotion i think hes literally copying the ufc model which has its ups and downs for sure but if his top fighters are still fighting other promotions i honestly dont see how its a bad thing

Promoters may be getting phased out. Why pay someone so much in the era of social media when your manager has tv deals and has right of refusal for any of his clients.

Why pay someone up to 25% when you can pay less than 10%? Look at Fury and wilder. The news of their Twitter beef was essentially free advertising.

Obviously we've yet to see how all of this is going to turn out, but the sport>the fighter. If they're getting paid well, fine, but if it's at the expense of the sport not living up to its potential, then **** that.

This sums up pretty well, how many of us who are still skeptical of Haymon feel. The sport > the fighter. It's not hate. It's love for the sport.
